Only 7 km from Kefalos, this beach of fine golden sand is very popular with families due to its shallow waters that are perfect for children who can dive from a large floating platform a few steps from the shoreline. It is one of the most popular beaches on the island and one of the magnificent beaches to be found in the bay of Kefalos. the beach is of fine white sand and the shallow waters are crystal clear. It is well organised with umbrellas, sun beds and equipment for hire to windsurf, water-ski, paraglide and fish as well as fun to be had on the banana boat. Along the sea front are many good tavernas, cafes and bars.
