Mastichari beach, located in front of the village bearing the same name, is one of the most beautiful on the island, thanks to its white sand surrounded by tamarisk trees and its crystal clear emerald green waters. On the waterfront there are a number of notable restaurants where you can enjoy the rich local cuisine: in fact the village port is always full of fishermen, who provide the fresh fish tavernas with their catch on a daily basis. Every year it organizes the Festival of Wine. From here you are also able to take advantage of the daily boat connections with the island of Kalymnos and Pserimos.
