The long stretch of white sand is located 15 km northwest from the town of Kos. It is well equipped with umbrellas and sun beds, water sports are available and there is a good selection of cafes, bars and restaurants to tempt your palate. The beach is surrounded by a fantastic landscape of sand dunes that separate the shore from the resort amenities arranged along the coast. Despite being a well organized beach it is never crowded during the summer thanks to its wide extension. Marmari Beach is popular with families due to its shallow waters. During the winter the sea is populated by an algae of the species Posidonia, this is a sign of clean sea, giving good oxygenation of the water and an environment for healthy fish to develop and multiply.
