On the north side in the westernmost part of the island of Kos and 5 km from
Kefalos, is the Bay of Limionas. It 's a quiet and secluded beach where you can
spend the whole day walking, sunbathing, swimming or snorkelling. There is a
small harbour with fishing boats that offer day trips and fishing excursions.
The panoramic view from the beach takes in the small island of Kalymnos with
Telendos on the west side. The beautiful sandy beach just invites you to lie
back and enjoy the soft music of the wind and the waves. There are umbrellas and
sun beds for hire, toilets and a shower.
Near Kefalo, about ten kilometres to the west, there is the small nudist beach
of Hilandhriou and, to the north, the charming town of Limionas, renowned for
its beautiful sunset views. The small sheltered harbour and tavernas serving
fresh, locally caught fish are a perfect place to rest and refresh yourself.
