Kos International Airport Hippocrates
The International Airport of Kos is situated 27 km from Kos town near the area
of Antimachia.
The airport was build in 1964. The airport serves domestic and international
flights from many European cities especially during the tourist season.
The Unified Carrier of Tourism in collaboration with the Association of
Hoteliers of Kos undertook to finance the creation of information point in Kos
Airport six days a week in two shifts until 11:30 in the evening.
The airport has a parking for approximately 150 cars and 40 buses. Available
shops in the airport (24 hours) in the halls of arrival and departure,
newsstand, souvenir, alcohol, sweets, flowers, art, books, tobacco, leather
good, toys and gift items.
There is also one restaurant that operates 24 hours from April till October and
4 bars.
