Kamari beach is located a couple of miles below the village of Kefalos which is perched on a hill overlooking the bay of the same name. For this reason it is also known locally as Kefalos Beach. It is a sandy/gravely beach some 5km long. Very popular in summer it can get quite busy. It is well organized with all the usual facilities and its crystal clear waters are quite cold - the coldest of the island – and can be extremely refreshing in the height of summer. On the beach you can find numerous water sports and restaurants, serving locally caught fish and accommodation along the sea front and a perfect organization with numerous water sports
