Camel Beach Kos

Camel Beach, on the outskirts of Kefalos, begins at Kefalos Bay and ends at Paradise Beach. It is signposted from the main Kefalos road but has a steep and difficult access road down to the beach, this is however accessible by car and scooter. It is a little more secluded than both the aforementioned beaches, in its own cove and separated by the headlands from Stephanos beach to the southwest and all the beaches to the northeast. The beach is a mix of sand and fine shingle, with calm cold waters. Very good for snorkelling. The name of the beach comes from the shape of the rock formation just behind from a distance it resembles a camel.
